Our History
Sailor Excavation and Paving Company is a family owned and operated business that serves both commercial and residential customers. Founded in 1934 by James Sailor, Sr., we are located in the Hays neighborhood of Pittsburgh, its original location.
James’ sons, Timothy and Thomas, became a part of the company in 1976 and have been providing asphalt paving and excavation services to Pennsylvania, Maryland, Ohio, and W. Virginia since taking over the company in 1988.
